I wasn't the writer I am now when I started writing on Medium. The best thing I did was apply to be a writer for Illumination. The editors and Dr. Yildiz worked with me and taught me how to write content. I was recently added to The Writing Cooperative as a writer. That would have never happened without the guidance and support of Dr. Yildiz and the editors of Illumination. If the criticism is that Illumination isn't Elitist, that's not a criticism, it's a badge of honor.
