My Stories Are Getting Published, and I’m so excited.
Last week, I found this website, Grey thoughts.com. Writers submit stories,
and the Editors select the ones they like and post them. They have posted all three of the stories that I submitted.
Every small success is huge in my eyes. The site doesn’t pay at all, but I don’t care. I just want my stories read and appreciated. I have come a long way from writing garbage with no idea about the craft of writing.
I have learned a lot, but I still have a long way to go. I will never stop learning and growing as long as I keep writing, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
If I could give anyone any advise, I would encourage them to start writing when they are young, and read a lot. Read everything, even Genres they don’t usually read, and write, write a lot. they will write crap, but that’s okay, they have to start somewhere.
I didn’t start writing until I was in my 40’s. I still have so much to learn. I just think that having my work out there is very cool.
