One morning, after the shelter had threw us out for the day. It was still dark because it was before six in the morning. I man drove by and stopped. He looked at me and offered to by me breakfast. I said " Sure." He bought me breakfast and tried to convert me to Catholicism. I'm a Southern Baptist so that didn't work. We talked, He prayed for me and dropped me off at the library where most of us spent our day. It has been over five years, but I never forgot that guy and the people that made eye-contact and smiled. It meant so much to me.
